Imagine knowing how much further we can go together, instead of trying to go faster alone. We’re a team that embraces change as an opportunity. We do what's right, even when it’s not easy. And we measure what’s valued, instead of only valuing what’s measured.
I’m a University of Colorado grad who somehow skied his way to a degree before moving to San Francisco for a career in advertising. It wasn’t long before I met a girl, got married and watched my hero of a wife give birth to two kids. Now, I’m the VP of Business Development for Ethology. Want to talk? Look for the guy trying not to sweat through his shirt in Scottsdale’s 115-degree heat — that’s probably me.
A word nerd in every sense, I absolutely love my job and live for tackling our clients’ toughest content problems. I’m an advocate for change, mixing things up and staying as far away from the comfort zone as possible. But don’t get me wrong: all work and no play really isn’t my style. I thrive on building genuine relationships with clients and coworkers — preferably over a happy hour drink or two.
When you first meet me, I might seem like a mellow guy. But start talking design and you’ll see me turn into an animated, hand-waving, whiteboard-sketching maniac. It’s not just design that I love. For me, it’s about crafting amazing experiences — even when I’m not at work. Just ask my family. I’m always busy researching our next great road trip, restaurant visit, home improvement project or hike. To me, the thinking and planning is almost as much fun as the doing. Almost.
